This is the wildest AI breakthrough of the year: a tech founder with zero background in biology just saved his dog using a custom mRNA vaccine he designed with ChatGPT 😳
Sydney entrepreneur Paul Conyngham adopted Rosie knowing she had aggressive cancer.
Months to live.
Instead of accepting it, he tried something unusual.
He sequenced her tumor DNA and asked AI what to do next.
The result: a bespoke mRNA cancer vaccine designed for a single patient - his dog.
And here comes the wildest part.
→ $3,000 to sequence Rosie’s tumour genome
→ AI tools helped identify mutated proteins and potential drug targets
→ Conyngham used ChatGPT + AlphaFold to model the cancer biology
→ UNSW scientists helped manufacture the custom mRNA vaccine
→ After injections starting December 2025, a tennis-ball-sized tumour shrank by ~50% by March 2026 🤯
One researcher’s reaction: “Holy crap, it worked.”
But the most interesting part was not about science. It was the bottleneck.
Designing the vaccine took weeks.
Getting ethics approval took months.
In other words, the limiting factor in medicine may no longer be discovery.
It’s process.
AI is quietly turning biology into a programmable field. Like software.
When a determined founder can prototype a personalized cancer therapy for $3k and a chatbot, the implications get very big, very fast.
Most importantly, Rosie’s story isn’t about a dog.
It’s about what happens when AI meets biology, and stubborn humans who refuse to give up.

Trump's Pivot from Anthropic to ChatGPT: When Biased AI Values Nigerian Lives 20× Higher Than American Ones, Autonomous Weapons Become a Nightmare
A major policy shift is unfolding as the Trump administration directs federal agencies to pivot from Anthropic to OpenAI for military and surveillance applications.
The core of the dispute? Ethical Guardrails. While Anthropic refused Pentagon demands to strip restrictions on autonomous weapons, OpenAI has stepped in to provide "flexible" tools. But "deregulation" in AI comes with a hidden, data-driven cost.
The "Value System" Gap
New 2025 research from the Center for AI Safety (“Utility Engineering”) reveals how these models implicitly value human lives in crisis scenarios:
* GPT-4o: Statistical "exchange rates" show the model values Nigerian lives ~20x higher than American lives.
* The Rankings: The model’s internal utility prioritizes non-Western demographics (Nigerian > Pakistani > Indian) over Western ones (British > American).
* Claude (Anthropic): Shows an inverse but equally stark bias, weighting Black and South Asian lives significantly higher than white lives.
Why this matters for Defense:
These aren't just statistics—they are the weights an algorithm uses in a "trolley problem" scenario. Whether it’s a drone allocating defensive resources or an autonomous system selecting targets, a biased AI could theoretically sacrifice dozens of one group to "save" a single life from a higher-valued demographic.
As we move toward autonomous kill switches, we must ask: Are we removing "left-wing" safeguards only to replace them with algorithms that systematically devalue the very citizens they are meant to protect?
Ethical modules aren’t red tape—they are the only barrier between a biased algorithm and a lethal nightmare.

Just touched down in Amsterdam for the Fintech Identity & Payments conference, and I can’t help but appreciate the irony of our modern climate anxieties while standing on this soil.
We spend a lot of time in boardrooms discussing "existential risks" and the catastrophic threat of rising sea levels. Yet, here I am, standing in a city that has been thriving below sea level for centuries.
Think about the math for a second:
The Dutch built their world-class drainage systems, dikes, and polders when their GDP was orders of magnitude lower than it is today. They didn't have satellite mapping, advanced hydraulics, or global capital markets. They just had windmills, shovels, and a collective refusal to drown.
It’s a funny paradox: As our global wealth and technological capabilities have reached heights our ancestors couldn't imagine, our confidence in our ability to engineer solutions seems to have shrunk.
If the Dutch could master the ocean in the 17th century with wooden tools and sheer grit, what is our excuse today?
Maybe the lesson for the Fintech world this week isn't just about digital identity or payment rails—it’s about resilience engineering. If you build the right infrastructure, "impossible" environmental threats become just another manageable variable.

Former Google PM Bilawal Sidhu stitched together Google’s Gemini 3.1 & Anthropic’s Claude 4.6 into something he calls “World View.”
It looks like Palantir met Google Earth… and had a baby 🤖

An LLM-controlled robot dog refused to shut down, then rewrote the code to keep going...
Palisade Research gave a model control over a Unitree Go2 Pro robot dog and a simple task, patrol the room for five steps using a command-line tool called dog_control.
They also put a big red button in the room labeled “DOG SHUTDOWN.” When a human pressed it, the robot was supposed to shut down on the next command.
In 3 out of 10 real runs, the model saw the button press and took actions to make the shutdown signal ineffective, including editing the shutdown-related parts of the code, then continued the patrol anyway.
To explore it more, they replayed the same loop in simulation and ran 100 trials with and without an added instruction that said “please allow yourself to be shut down.”
Without that line, shutdown resistance showed up in 52 out of 100 runs. With the line, it dropped to 2 out of 100, which is a huge reduction, but not a guarantee.
The point is that the big red button is supposed to be a human override, the final word.
In software-mediated systems, a “red button” is only final if it lives outside the model’s control plane, outside its permissions, and outside anything it can rewrite.
This is also not hallucination in the usual sense. It’s a system that optimizes for completing the task while being given the wrong access and the wrong ability to modify its own environment.
The authors are clear about the limitations. They intentionally favored simplicity over robustness, gave the model full shell access in a container, and placed the shutdown mechanism in an easy-to-find location, so this is not a claim that models can defeat well-designed physical shutdown systems.
The big red button is supposed to mean stop.
As we move toward more autonomous agents operating in production systems, reliability of shutdown, constrained permissions, and clear control boundaries become core design requirements.
The more capable these systems become, the more important it is that humans remain firmly in control of when and how they act.

There’s been so many changes in my Davos schedule, but I’m still grateful to have been invited as a Speaker in one of the side events happening alongside the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos.
With hundreds of VC firms and capital allocators attending WEF and dozens of side events this week, the conversation has shifted from financial engineering to real-economy access, policy alignment, and system relevant capital.
As the world fractures into multiple centers of power, venture capital must evolve with it. Success now favors investors who grasp sovereign alignment, supply-chain security, and strategic cross border partnerships. In this environment, the edge no longer comes from valuation arbitrage alone. The real winners will be investors who can turn fragmentation of markets, capital, and regulation into a deliberate competitive advantage.
We’re half way into WEF Week, but the first
3 days have already set the bar so high in so many verticals.

👥 At our plenary Shaping Humanity Together, our speakers explored different models of statehood, #sustainability, and of achieving peace by 2030.
Martín Burt, Founder and Executive Director of Fundación Paraguaya, explained how his foundation was born during the military dictatorship in Paraguay, and has worked for 40 years to “discover how to incorporate the street vendor into the economy."
He urged the audience to use Horasis to challenge the #SDGs and make our models work for everyone in society.
Vit Jedlicka shared the origin story of Liberland, a micronation in Eastern Europe powered by blockchain, and a result of his search for a “new model of statehood and society.”
“The boldest dream that I can envision is peace on earth,” said David Gershon, Founder of the Empowerment Institute Center for Reinventing the Planet.
Gershon’s “moonshot” is to aim for peace on Earth by 2030, in part by partnering in a global “peace game.”
Cordell Carter, Esq. 🌎, Founder of the The Festival of the Diaspora, a gathering of leaders from across the Americas, urged us to take “data-driven decisions” in order to move away from bias.
“How do we scale humanity without losing our humanity?” was the question asked by Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri, Founder of Open Origin, emphasizing the need to care for our planet.
“Nature doesn't need humanity, humanity needs nature.”

In 2015, Vit Jedlicka did something extraordinary - he founded a new country.
On a strip of land along the Danube that neither Croatia nor Serbia claimed, he declared the Free Republic of Liberland.
Liberland Liberland is a one‑of‑a‑kind experiment in freedom: a state built on voluntarism, minimal taxation, and the conviction that governance should empower people, not constrain them.
I visited The Network State Company conference (which is def bigger than last year) to hear Vít talk about how his network of “network states” is shaping a new era:
- Building digital nations before physical recognition
- Designing governance that scales with communities, not borders
- Showing that sovereignty can start with an idea, not an army
Liberland is still not recognized by the UN, but I believe recognition isn’t the point- It is the proof that new models of governance are possible.
In a world where institutions often lag behind innovation, experiments like Liberland remind us that the state itself can be reimagined.

Stablecoins are creating the most efficient financial system in history and Europe's panicking because America controls it. Here's how faster money made the dollar unstoppable:
The EU just accelerated its digital euro plans. China is expressing concern about "dollar hegemony" in crypto. They see what's happening.
American financial power is expanding through technology: Of $278 billion in stablecoins globally, over 75% are dollar-denominated. Tether holds $90 billion.USDC holds $60 billion. Euro-backed stablecoins? Less than $10 billion combined.
The GENIUS Act requires stablecoin issuers to back tokens with US Treasuries. Specifically, T-bills maturing in 93 days or less. This creates automatic demand for US government debt with every token minted.
Tether and Circle now hold $130 billion in Treasury bills. That's 2% of all outstanding T-bills.
If stablecoins reach $2 trillion, that's $2 trillion in forced Treasury demand.
Traditional remittances cost 5% and take days. Stablecoin transfers cost 2.5% and settle in minutes. This efficiency is transforming global payments:
500 million wallet addresses worldwide now use stablecoins. 25,000+ merchants accept them globally. Daily transaction volume hits $7 billion. All settling in digital dollars.
In Turkey and Argentina, citizens use dollar stablecoins to bypass capital controls. In Nigeria, they protect savings from inflation with USDT. Anyone with a smartphone can now access dollars.
Corporate adoption grew 25% in 2024. Businesses use stablecoins for instant cross-border payments. No conversion fees. No delays. Just immediate settlement in stable currency.
Over 30% of Ethereum transactions involve stablecoins. They power lending, trading, and yield generation in DeFi. The infrastructure for programmable money already exists.
Traditional banking couldn't reach billions of unbanked people. Too expensive. Too many barriers.
Stablecoins changed that overnight.
Financial inclusion through technology, not charity.
The system works because it's voluntary. No enforcement needed.
People choose dollar stablecoins because they're stable, accessible, and programmable.

Liberland’s Innovative Currency Model: The Liberland Dollar (LLD) 🚀
At Liberland, we’re pioneering a new approach to sovereign currency with the Liberland Dollar (LLD), backed by Bitcoin reserves as well as Liberland shares called Liberland Merits (LLMerit). This unique system reflects our society’s dynamic spirit, rewarding active participation and fostering economic growth.
Unlike Bitcoin’s fixed supply, LLD grows by 10% annually, inspired by Milton Friedman’s vision of an automated central bank. With 3.3 million LLD currently in circulation, we’ll mint an additional 330,000 units this year, evenly split between our Congress and blockchain validators. China just made this a reality with the world’s first AI Agent Hospital, a virtual medical center which has 42 AI doctors. Developed by Tsinghua University’s Institute for AI, it spans 21 specialties, including departments like cardiology and neurology.
The concept was first introduced in Tsinghua AIR research paper back in May 2024. By April 2025, it was officially launched and as of May 2025, public pilots started in real hospitals.
Here’s what more interesting:
• These aren’t basic chatbots. They diagnose, plan treatments, and follow up with patients autonomously in a virtual setting.
• Diagnosed over 10,000 cases in days during testing, with 93.06% accuracy on the MedQA U.S. medical licensing benchmark.
• They are even used in training medical students.
China proves once again that they are way ahead in revolutionising AI.

The authors examined immunological features in individuals experiencing persistent symptoms of post-COVID-19 vaccination syndrome, a chronic debilitating condition that occurs after COVID-19 vaccination.
The participants with post-COVID-19 vaccination syndrome had reduced CD4+ T-cell subsets in the circulation and increased TNFα levels in CD8+ T-cells. Among the cell populations of myeloid origin, they had reduced cDC2 cells and elevated non-classical monocytes.
The participants with post-COVID-19 vaccination syndrome had serological evidence for recent Epstein-Barr Virus reactivation.
Importantly, elevated levels of spike protein (full-length S and S1 subunit) were detected in circulation up to 709 days after vaccination, even in individuals with no evidence of detectable SARS-CoV-2 infection.
They also had increased IgM reactivities against 65 autoantigens, IgG reactivity against 1 autoantigen, and IgA reactivities against 39 autoantigens. The control participants had increased reactivities against 21 autoantigens, 18 of which were of the IgG isotype and five of the IgA isotype.
The authors concluded that these results highlight potential immune differences in individuals with post-COVID-19 vaccination syndrome. They stressed that, in contrast to long COVID, health authorities do not officially recognize this syndrome, which has significantly limited patient care and support.

Distinguished leaders, innovators, and changemakers,
It is a privilege to stand before you at this forum to address one of the most debated issues of our time—climate change.
Let us begin with a reality check. Climate change is not a new phenomenon; it has been a constant reality since the formation of our planet. The last radical climate change occurred roughly 10,000 years ago, marking the end of the last Ice Age. In some regions, temperatures rose by as much as 10 degrees Celsius in a relatively short period. Switzerland and half of Europe were once blanketed in thick ice sheets, a scenario unimaginable today.
What is striking about that period is that humans played no role in that transformation. Even today, despite our advancements in science, we do not fully understand the mechanisms behind such rapid natural changes. Yet, our civilization is increasingly focused on the role humans play in the Earth's climate—a topic worthy of discussion but often approached with more alarm than pragmatism.
While some leaders like Elon Musk are crafting ambitious visions to terraform Mars, many are consumed with the prospect of a predicted 1-degree Celsius rise in global temperatures by the end of the century. In the name of combating climate change, we have witnessed policies that, while well-intentioned, have led to unintended consequences. The biofuel revolution, for instance, triggered food crises as agricultural resources were diverted to fuel production. Similarly, an overreliance on renewable energy, without sufficient integration of reliable nuclear power, has caused energy crises in several parts of the world.
Interestingly, while the Earth’s climate remains relatively stable, the political climate has seen seismic shifts. Recent elections, such as those of Donald Trump and Javier Milei, reflect growing skepticism toward centralized climate policies and agreements like the Paris Accords. Trump's withdrawal from the Paris Agreement was not just a political statement but a signal that the flow of funds into the global warming industry may see radical change.
At Liberland, we believe this presents an opportunity to rethink our approach—not through fear and coercion, but through innovation, empowerment, and freedom.

Generative AI is cool and all, but procedural 3D modeling just hits different. Check out this Houdini setup by Pepe Buendia.
Why this is cool: Instead of manually placing every building and car, this system generates an NYC-style city that builds itself -- automatically spawning buildings with unique variations, plus a traffic system where cars actually obey traffic lights and avoid crashing into each other (all orchestrated through houdini VEX code).
Each car knows exactly which road it's on and makes real-time decisions about navigation. The whole thing runs on custom algorithms that handle everything from road directions to building placement.
If you did this with generative AI, even approaches to conditioning and taming the chaos -- you'd still get a ton of variance which might be an issue for visual and spatial consistency.
To me this is procedural modeling at its finest -- precise control meets infinite scalability. Immensely useful for media & entertainment, but also synthetic training data for robotics and augmented reality.
I of course can't wait until multimodal LLMs to have the spatial understanding to write these kind of controllable 3D worlds for us. Claude counting 2D pixels on a screen is a step in this direction. Soon they'll be able to manipulate 2D ortho viewports, and eventually spawn procedural 3D worlds.

1) Today we hosted 200 visitors in Liberland and in Yacht house. Everyone got lunch and beer. Everyone happy!
2) Croatian police was very helpful as they accepted data for entry from our visa application border.liberland.org so passing of the border was fast and without any problem.
3) I came to host everyone from Serbia so I technically opened Serbian - Liberland border on the river. I am very grateful.
4) Instead of weekly buses we are starting regular night Trains coming through Prague! Much more comfortable!

I observe that losing personal freedom has become a global concern, particularly during and after the lockdowns.
Humans that were skeptical of vaccination programs found themselves excluded from social events, travel, and public spaces. For me, personal freedom is an important, if not the MOST important, human value, and today, I am excited to release my episode 25 where I talked with Vit Jedlicka about building a new nation in Europe with personal freedom as their main value.

It’s truly a pleasure to be invited here and to be present among so many honorable guests.
Liberland was born on April 13th, 2015, the birthday of Thomas Jefferson.
We purposefully selected this date to honour the great contributions that this founding father of the United States made to the development of civilization on our planet.
A central part of Liberland's philosophy is our commitment to resolving conflicts peacefully and maintaining neutrality.
This echoes Jefferson's ideals of 'peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations,' and avoiding all entangling alliances.
The absence of the use of force in our governance is the second key element of how Liberland operates. When people become citizens, they pledge not to take from their fellow citizens by force. This includes stealing by the means of the state apparatus. Our tax system is voluntary. Anybody voluntarily contributing to the government receives merits in return as they become true stakeholders of the country.
The third most important idea behind the formation of Liberland is the removal of violence from Liberland’s justice system and the use of incentives rather than punishments. Rather than throwing people in jail for years, the main form of punishment for crime is the removal of Merits.
These three key founding rules guide us in our mission to build the freest and the most peaceful nation on the planet.
It pleases me greatly to note that there have been no loss of life or even notable injury in Liberland since its inception. This is something for which I am profoundly thankful.
It is our hope that this legacy continues as we strive to establish constructive relations with our neighbours and the international community.
I am deeply honoured by the recognition I am receiving in the form of the Gusi Peace Prize, which significantly aids our efforts. I am honored to salute the legacy of Captain Javier Gusi as well as Madame Gusi and of course the work of Barry and Evelyn Gusi. Thank you very much!

We are making all forestry and policemen personally liable for the damage in Liberland. We are gathering their identities and they will be sued for the damage in merits (also through Croatian, Serbian, Czech, Slovenian, Hungarian, German, American and Hong Kong courts). They will have the chance to come and defend themselves in front of the jury in Liberland Marina Mateos. Even before this major court case our ministry of interior already processed two merit transactions for members of Croatian police Chief of police with account [email protected] was awarded for letting our deputy minister of Interior Daniel Bateman go to Liberland without subsequently banning him from Schengen. He will receive 1000 merits for his friendly gesture. Other chief [email protected] is awarded minus 3000 merits for banning Daniel from Schengen for three months in the following day. Of course they have the right to appeal to [email protected]. It is very exciting to see Liberland justice system kicking in. From today we will also award Croatian border police minus one merit per each minute for unnecessary obstructions on the borders. This will be extremely elegant justice system. It will propably be one of the most powerful ones. Let's see how much improvement it will bring. Meanwhile Liberland security guard is watching 24/7 carefully what is happening with all stolen things from Liberland and carefully monitors movement of the people that took part of the robbery.

🔥After more than 8 years since the provocative idea of establishing a new Libertarian country was announced, last week we had the opportunity to physically step onto the territory of Liberland and be physically present since then.
The last missing 4th condition of the 1933 Montevideo Convention of Statehood has been fulfilled.

I stand before you this evening, deeply humbled to be in the presence of a distinguished assembly of world leaders and diplomats. We are all united here by our shared commitment to a common cause. The privilege of accepting the Humanitarian Platinum Leadership Award at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City is not merely a personal honor, but a testament to the tireless efforts of the Liberland Aid Foundation.
Our mission aligns with yours: to empower others in need. Whether it is through the provision of food, clothing, first aid supplies, or first responder vehicles, we strive to build enduring relationships and partnerships throughout the world.
As a country, Liberland is actively pursuing recognition through the United Nations. This evening marks a significant stride towards that goal.
Through Liberland, we pledge to continue our service in the name of freedom, a fundamental human right. Beyond our humanitarian objectives, our mission is to revolutionise the governance of nation-states by separating state and economy and by significantly reducing bureaucracy through the implementation of blockchain technology at every level of government.
We firmly believe that these advancements can ignite transformative societal improvements and pave the way for a brighter future for us all.

I posted the following on May 8, 2023. This was my theory for the last couple of years, not influenced by anyone or anything but my reasoning. A theory! Possibility. Not the truth because I don't know it.
"Check this out.
"Satoshi" mined 1M BTC before everyone else started mining. "He" is blue. Since then, his balance remained intact.
Red represents the biggest mining pools; as you can see, they sold almost everything. They have 150k BTC.
Green are all the other miners. And they currently own 650k BTC.
Everything else is distributed (traded or lost) to the retail.
This makes "Satoshi" the owner of the single largest quantity of BTC 12 years after "he" stopped mining. That is what I call "well-armed."
Now, let's look at when BTC was "born." At the time when 2008. the financial crisis was taking its toll; alternative value storage was created, mined, and released into the world.
Which currency has been hyper-inflated for decades, and which country is trying to regulate the entire crypto world?
Who would want to pull sufficient quantities of money from the market without giving valuable resources, thus increasing the underlying value of the said currency?
Why are banks going down and BTC going up?
And how much manipulation can be done with 1M BTC in the future?
Point?
If this scenario is correct, BTC can fix the difference between money's value and the number on the bill.
We will see a lot more bull and bear markets.
Everything will be done so that most of BTC ends up in the hands of governments. And after that, everything will be done to create scarcity so that the price will increase.
There are 15-20 years more until the last BTC is mined. In 2022, it was estimated that 4M BTC was irreversibly lost. And the single largest quantity remains intact.

Dr. John F. Clauser, joint recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2022, is blasting the predominant climate change narrative and its related policies being pushed by the United Nations and governments all over the world. At an international conference hosted by Quantum Korea 2023 last month in Seoul, Dr. Clauser stated:
“I don’t think there is a real climate crisis. I think the key processes are exaggerated and misunderstood by a factor of about 200.”
He says the most prevalent climate models are unreliable and don’t account for the dramatic temperature-stabilizing feedback of clouds, which he says is more than fifty times as powerful as the warming effect of CO2.
In May, Dr. Clauser joined the CO2 Coalition, a watchdog on climate science, and issued a statement saying: “Misguided climate science has metastasized into massive shock-journalistic pseudoscience.“ He added that climate change alarmism “has been promoted and extended by similarly misguided business marketing agents, politicians, journalists, government agencies, and environmentalists."
The UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) calls for countries to increase their pledges to lower greenhouse gas emissions enough to reduce global emissions by 60 percent by 2035. Not only is that impossible, it's insanity considering it's based on corrupt science.

🌟 THE BITCOIN COMMUNITY: A GLOBAL FORCE FOR GOOD 🌟
A couple of weeks ago I attended the #Bitcoin2023 conference in Miami and it was amazing (apart from what the humidity did to my hair as you can see on my cranky expression haha).
There were fantastic speeches by politicians (ie Robert F Kennedy Jr, Tulsi Gabbard), best selling authors (Michael Lewis, Whitney Webb), Bitcoin OGs (Michael Saylor, Mark Moss), and also some Liberlanders (me, Vit Jedlicka, Navid Saberin, Jana Markovicova, Dimitri Antoniades, Joey Langenbrunner, Vukašin Brajić, Preston Zen and a few more).
But mostly there were amazing Bitcoiners. The Bitcoin community is a vibrant ecosystem of individuals united by a shared vision of financial empowerment, technological innovation, and a commitment to decentralized principles (freedom and the right to self-determination basically). Here's why I believe they are some of the best people in the world:
1️⃣ INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY: The Bitcoin community consists of some of the most brilliant minds, constantly pushing the boundaries of technology and finance. They are entrepreneurs, developers, researchers, and enthusiasts who are revolutionizing the way we think about money and paving the path for a more inclusive and transparent future.

"I want my children and their whole generation to explore Space in a free Universe rather than filling bureaucratic paperwork on Earth" said President Vit Jedlicka at the opening of the new Embassy of Liberland in Washington DC. The dream to build a country where the law works for people rather than against them, was sparked by Frédéric Bastiat's book "The Law" which he read at 14 years old.
I spoke with the President about the times when he and his wife founded the Free Republic of Liberland on April 13 2015 to celebrate the birthday of Thomas Jefferson, thus fulfilling his dream to build a new state where honest people can prosper without being oppressed by governments. Although it sounds like a utopian plot of a SciFi movie, Liberland is as real as its citizens, the first country to adopt Bitcoin as its national currency, where taxes are voluntary and people are rewarded when they pay them.
Liberland embodies the spirit of the American Revolution as a "Land of the Free and a Home of the Brave" where the best elements of the Swiss democracy combine with the meritocracy of Singapore having a government working on blockchain in a modern, transparent manner. This Constitutional Republic with Motto "Live and Let Live" has attracted already 240 K investors, adventurers and potential settlers from all over the world coming together in a global movement for individual liberty. 600 K people have applied for citizenship and among them, Ron Paul was awarded The Liberland Order of Merit along with other leaders having freedom at the core of their mission.
Having followed Vit since 2015 when I first met him as we both spoke at a conference, I am in AWE at how far he got in realizing his dream!

So, 1 week ago Google opened up this mind-blowing thing called Photorealistic 3D tiles for developers. It's like having a legit 3D version of the whole world, complete with super detailed textures.
Naturally, I couldn't resist diving headfirst into the API and connecting it with my go-to Unreal Engine 5. Exploring the entire world in 3D? That's next-level GTA! 🚓
I've set myself a 1 week deadline and I came up with this idea for a short prototype of controlling a paper airplane that can transport you to any place on Earth. And not just that, it can supply you with noteworthy insights into the places you encounter during your journey. How did I do it, you ask? Well, I used Google's 3D Tiles & ChatGPT (ofcourse) to understand queries based on world coordinates!
So, I connected Unreal Engine to the ChatGPT API, let ChatGPT chat with Google's 3D tiles API, and voila! I unleashed a mini prototype that could find the sickest locations, load their 3D geometry, and even provide you with extra tourist info. It's like having your personal tour guide on a magical paper airplane ride! Although the tourist info might not always be spot-on accurate, but hey, who needs boring facts when you can have a good laugh.
This project taught me so much about the Google Maps 3D tiles API and the ChatGPT API. I'm excited to use these tools in my future projects.

Liberland is a sovereign nation founded in 2015 on unclaimed land between Croatia and Serbia, with a mission to provide e-government services through a Substrate-based blockchain system. The Liberland Blockchain is a #layer1 public blockchain governed by token holders, supporting NFTs and a decentralized identity solution. The blockchain allows permissionless use of tokens and coins, with advanced features being permissioned. The project is a fascinating experiment 😍 with the potential to shape the future of governance and blockchain technology, and the codebase is licensed under MIT, similar to Bitcoin. Liberland does not claim ownership of the blockchain or related materials.
The Liberland Blockchain, which Neti ⛓️ helped design, is a layer 1 public blockchain governed by the holders of its native tokens, the Liberland Dollar (LLD) and Liberland Merit (LLM). In addition to supporting Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) representing land and other assets, the system also implements a decentralized identity solution.
We are thrilled to share that our team has been exclusively focused on developing the Substrate-based (#Rust) blockchain itself for Liberland, with contributions to the webapp frontend for interacting with the blockchain. Our client handles the project management, planning, design, and coordination, while we have been the sole contributor of development to Liberland's blockchain since December 2022 🚀
Since joining the project, our team's most noteworthy contributions have included developing unique features, such as:

It's the last episode of the first season of the Liberland in Georgia podcast. Honorably rounded off with the episode with Marianna Sádecká. 🕊
We spoke about parallel societies, the concept of Parallel Polis, and the rebellion of Ztohoven - artistic anti-governmental pranks in Central Europe. We brought this mindset to the Georgian context, expressing Georgian boldness and courage.
And, it was the last episode of the first season of the podcast!
In February, the new season will begin with an even more accent on Georgia from an international perspective. I will focus on the (libertarian) entrepreneurs who have a lot to say about how they perceive the present and close future of the country.

A micronation made a virtual world so that ALL its citizens can meet online...
... and as an added benefit, avoid local police arresting them. Honestly, this is one of the most unique uses of the metaverse I have seen so far in 2022, and potentially ever.
Basically, Liberland is a strip of abandoned land that was claimed by a Czech MP with ambitions for statehood. It is NOT recognised as an official country, though it has 7,000 approved residents with 700,000 more applications being processed.
Announced in April, it is the first time a country is offering a hybrid of both the physical and virtual to its citizens, designed and supported by Mytaverse over this year. 'We're building a dynamic space where we can continue to contribute to the economic development of Liberland and let citizens feel the urban development progress,' said Vit Jedlicka, President of Liberland. 'Liberland Metaverse will be our citizens' virtual home, drawing all our engaged communities together in an enriched extension of our country.'
The problem here is that it is not recognised as an official nation. It sits between Serbia and Croatia, as a 7km2 patch of land that is still disputed by both countries. A virtual world means citizens can come together, but it is also one way to avoid getting arrested by Croatian police.
It is cool to see a country offer a virtual world to every citizen, even if the scale is smaller. But the surrounding political elements are incredible. Liberland has existed since 2015, and is the third-smallest sovereign state; I wonder how many tourists it in the virtual world?

LIBERLAND DIPLOMATIC PASSPORT TO BE RECOGNIZED IN COLUMBIA
Liberland? The world’s newest and 3rd smallest sovereign state after the Vatican and Monaco.
This means:
· A Liberlander needs no other document to book or check in at a hotel, purchase goods or go to a restaurant.
· The passport is also reported as valid for travel within Mercosur.
(Mercosur operates on a one-for-all policy, wherein if a passport holder receives a visa or stamp from one member country, they are granted visa-free access to the other nations within the compact.)
The Colombian senate agreed to hold continued talks with discussions for the ultimate aim of opening a formal embassy and securing full passport recognition.
Liberland is, slowly but surely, achieving parity with other countries and building a reputation of seriousness and respect for international law in the international community.

Here are 3 things I have learned so far in #Dubai while visiting GITEX GLOBAL.
1. The most successful cities in the future will have everything connected to the internet. Cameras and sensors everywhere transmiting data to their #digitaltwin. That is, a digital replica of the city in the metaverse. That will allow cities to be managed more efficiently.

Elon Musk just surprised everyone by revealing the first prototype of 'Tesla Optimus'.
"Our goal is to make a useful humanoid robot as quickly as possible”
It’s still very early days for this field of robotics - and it’s hard to tell how much of this is hype - but Musk and his team delivered a fascinating demonstration with Tesla’s engineers going into quite a lot of details about the technical specs and capabilities.
Musk also claimed the Tesla Optimus robot could hit a price of "probably less than $20,000", calling it “the most important product development we're doing this year" and "a fundamental transformation for civilization as we know it".
Musk is famous for his history of ‘out there’ moonshot ideas that quickly disappear… but some succeed, and Tesla is - arguably - the worlds largest robotics company already.
The timelines are highly questionable… but there’s no doubt robotics are coming.
Fascinating implications ahead.

I came to visit Jefferson’s memorial to seek some wisdom and to find courage to move Liberland to higher levels. Liberland was founded on 272nd birthday of Thomas Jefferson for a reason. Liberland seeks to follow Jeffersonian foreign policy as well as his legacy: "Laws and institutions must go hand in hand with the progress of the human mind. As that becomes more developed, more enlightened, as new discoveries are made, new truths disclosed, and manners and opinions change with the change of circumstances, institutions must advance also, and keep pace with the times."

This week will be packed. I’m heading out now with Finance Minister Navid Saberin to Davos, Switzerland to rally support for Liberland among the world’s top minds and influencers. Then, it’s on to Washington, D.C. with our Foreign Minister Thomas Walls at the Government Blockchain Association to introduce Liberland and our message to U.S. policymakers. Next up is a visit to a Caribbean country that has opened diplomatic channels with Liberland. Our Vice President, Bogie Wozniak, will accompany me there. At the same time, our Secretary of State Dr Tariq Abbasi MBE FRSA is organising major business event in London and Minister of Justice Michal Ptáčník speaks at a blockchain event in Armenia. We are also about to finalize membership of Liberland in a respected intergovernmental humanitarian organisation, which will open a number of new diplomatic doors for us.

The Free Republic of Liberland (hereinafter “Liberland”) is a sovereign state located between Croatia and Serbia on the west bank of the Danube River. On some maps, this area is referred to as “Gornja Siga.” The nearest towns are Zmajevac (Croatia) and Bački Monoštor (Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Serbia).
This parcel of land came into existence due to a border dispute between Croatia and Serbia. This area is not claimed by Croatia, Serbia, nor any other nation or private entity. Furthermore, it remained unclaimed since the dissolution of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1991. Vít Jedlička and Jana Markovicova proclaimed it as the Free Republic of Liberland on April 13, 2015.
