The Free Republic of Liberland has officially ratified the results of the December 2025 Congressional elections, marking another successful deployment of our proprietary public blockchain for national governance.
Voters delivered a decisive victory for Prime Minister Justin Sun, affirming his vision for the world’s first blockchain-powered state. Under his continued leadership, Liberland remains dedicated to pioneering Web3 innovation and decentralized finance, securing its status as a beacon of technological sovereignty.
The election results confirm a Congress that brings together experienced leaders and new members. Prominent leaders successfully defended their seats, including Minister of Finance Navid Saberin, Secretary of State Tariq Abbasi, Minister of Justice Michal Ptacnik, and Dorian J. Stern Vukotic.
They are joined by newly elected members Joey Langenbrunner and Balazs Magyar, both of whom have served as Liberland representatives for many years and bring distinguished backgrounds to the assembly.Â
Joseph “Joey” Langenbrunner, a veteran Liberland diplomat, entrepreneur, and strategic advisor in the investment migration and blockchain space.
Balazs Magyar, one of Liberland’s earliest supporters and a long-standing representative in Hungary, an electrical engineer and licensed pilot, is the founder and CEO of Skyhawk Aviation.
Underpinned by the Liberland Merit (LLM) system, this process exemplifies our model of hyperdemocracy—a governance structure where individual contributions directly translate into political influence. With this new assembly in place, Liberland advances its core mission: fostering a borderless society built on liberty and innovation.
06 January 2026, Liberland - Liberland will participate in the 2026 Davos Forum at the Abraham House, a platform dedicated to global dialogue and cultural exchange. This collaboration provides an opportunity to present a working model of liberty, merging individual sovereignty with practical governance. Abraham House serves as a forum to connect traditional values with innovative approaches, highlighting the convergence of culture, governance, and freedom.
On January 20th, Liberland will host “Liberland Day,” featuring a sovereign state briefing by President VĂt JedliÄŤka. The address will cover diplomatic developments, the implementation of decentralized governance, and Liberland’s evolving economic framework. Alongside the briefing, a diplomatic reception will bring together global leaders, policymakers, and innovators to discuss practical approaches to sovereignty, economic freedom, and citizen empowerment.
In line with Liberland’s meritocratic principles, a speaking slot will be reserved for a citizen project. All citizens are invited to submit initiatives, ventures, or protocols that align with the values of individual liberty and viability. Three projects will be selected, with one presented on the Davos stage. Those who become new citizens in time for the event are also eligible to submit a project and compete for this speaking opportunity. This approach embodies the nation’s commitment to empowering individuals to represent the collective, turning sovereignty from theory into practice.

Happy New Year, Liberlanders! 2025 was a historic year for liberty, but we are just getting started.
Greengs fellow liberlanders and all freedom loving people of the world. Happy New Year 2026!
2025 was an extraordinary year, not just for Liberland but for everybody that believes in liberty
There were some major successes for the freedom movement. I'm happy that Javier Milei, our citizen, has been leading the country towards more prosperous future.Â
And that people like Petr Macinka and, other famous Liberland citizens have become a foreign minister of the Czech Republic.Â
I believe these victories are our path towards a global recognition. Somaliland, that was the first country to recognize Liberland via a memorandum of understanding in 2017, has recently became recognized country.Â
Liberland will be recognized mainly for our adherence to principles of liberty, for the free markets, but also for our implementation of blockchain governance. I'm more than proud to announce that the elections of Liberland have been recently concluded and Justin Sun has become again Prime Minister of Liberland. We're proud to have him as he is the founder of Tron blockchain ecosystem, one of the key financial elements in the modern world.Â
Liberland is building its own blockchain and its own bridges to the centralized ecosystems. In 2026, we are going to focus on making sure that these bridges are fundamentally built and that Liberlanders are able to establish new companies as decentralized autonomous organizations. We're also going to focus on centralized banking solutions with Liberland pay that will be working hands in hand to make Liberland a reality.Â
In 2026, I believe we have a chance to reach 1 million applicants for citizenship. We have a chance again to double Liberland budget and make sure that Liberlanders bring a lot of value not just globally but also locally into the region around Liberland.Â
We're announcing a 40 million dollar investment plan for the Baranja region. Both Serbia and Croatia will profit from our presence. Looking forward to build a new country, with you, with your support and with your enthusiasm. Happy New Year 2026.
